It's kinda cool how some kid who knows he's going to die decides to raise money to help other people from suffering from the same illness he suffered from. It sucks that he died but at least he was able to raise lots of money for other people.

Kinda puts life in perspective I think. If someone as young as he was can do this when faced with such a dire situation it make you wonder what many of us have got to complain about.

very sad ...I would gladly have changed places with him if they would allow a young person with a great attitude to survive...I wonder what happens to all that money ...certainly, by now, research should have uncovered a cure ...or at least a treatment...for cancer of all kinds.

Stories like this always make me stop for a while and remember the most important things in my life. Something many of us keep forgetting. Really sad yet so inspirational. May he rest in peace.

This is a subject for another discussion but I don't really think pharmaceutical companies are interested in offering a cure. Quite the opposite indeed.

It was a true inspiration for all the people and especially those with cancer. Respect for the Kid.

The cancer industry as a whole is sickening, there IS a cure for cancer and it has been known about since the 1970s, but due to obscene profits made by pharma companies this has not been widely publicized let alone developed into a mainstream cure.. The cure? Cannabinoids - http://www.whydontyoutrythis.com/2013/09/42-medical-studies-that-prove-cannabis-can-cure-cancer.html

Indeed very great character shown by this teenager. RIP
Definitely agree here, why cure when you can get monthly payments for the medicine. Stuff that costs them pennies sells for 5k and more. I mean we fly to the moon, make mobile internet faster all the time etc.. so it is very hard to believe that there is no cure for many known diseases. A shame but money rules the world as usual so doubt this will ever really change.
