.ST Domains - anyone with experience?

Just wondering if anyone has registered a .ST domain via the Sao Tome official registrar: nic.st

Considering getting a neat "domain hack" name but for $45~ usd/year I'd love to hear some feedback from folks with these kinds of domains.

Good, bad, ugly?

All i can say is I've never heard of it nor have I seen .st domains rank for anything...

+1 havent see any .st domain AT ALL

"freshe.st" is PR4 - Ranking 3rd for "freshest" on google.

www.ihavean.st/d links you too a pretty cool map that allows you to see most of the .st domains currently registered, so if in doubt do a little more research...

If you want to develop your website and slowly build it's authority, then if the .st sounds good get it, no questions.
If it's a website that relies on SEO, with not much content go with the country TLD your targeting.
