    i was wondering if there is any way to login to a https website ? with out the webbrowser control thanks...

    ycpc: Both HTTPWebRequest and Chilkat support this. My personal choice is chilkat. Unfortunitely I can not post any links yet, but if u search google for chilkat it will take you to the product page which contains a link to examples. In the vb d0t net part, click HTTP. You can find several for posting to a website, including HTTPS.

    In order to figure out what u need to post, use HTTPFox, which is a firefox plugin, to sniff the data firefox sends.

    You can use live http headers the firefox addon to catch the https login packet, and just re-write the packet, and send it off with httpwebrequest..
