SSL for SEO

    hey guys,

    i've read in a blog that https sites will rank better. do you guys know if this gives a big boost in seo if i switch my site to http?

    s friend but you have good content updated in your page make more traffic of your site and add more blogs.

    As per new Google algorithm, SSL sites will be a major factor in boosting your site's ranking. But for a higher ranking, you still needs quality backlinking and On-page SEO efforts.

    Google plans to make SSL more significant in it's rankings. Currently, it will help give you a small boost but will probably have more impact in the future. I would say that it is not absolutely necessary at the moment but you can find some cheap SSL if you want to have it. Namecheap used to have a deal where you can purchase one for $1.99 when you bought a new domain name. Otherwise, they are only $10 a year which isn't much.
