    Hi all,

I got a SSEC account followed all the steps.
But doesn't work, some dns problem on there end.

Emailed 3 times for support but no answer!?

So i'm wondering is it a rippoff?

How long ago / how far apart were the emails you sent them? Three in five minutes is different than 3 over the course of a week, haha. I wouldn't worry too much unless it has been a few days...

Your kidding me right? SSEC a rippoff, come on. I have been using the program for a very longtime and their support is probally the best i have ever seen.

Im also confused as to what DNS problem they could be having when the program is mostly self hosted

    3 emails over a week.
i pointed my domains to the dns server they suggest.
i did it with 2 domains even, and use the 2 diffrent dns options they gave me

I don't think it's a rip-of those guys have been up and running for a long time. Takes a little to get the hang of the software but well worth it once you know what your doing.

SSEC is not a ripoff. Use their support forum; it's there for a reason.

Dude - wrong forum to post this on. Really should have seen it on the SSEC forums first, there are quite a few of us that are on both.

Besides post in the forums over at SSEC and you will get a pretty solid answer from one of the long term members there inside 5 mins if Brian or the others aren't around
