Anyone else had a problem where your web 2.0 articles and such don't show on backlink checkers? I've had these web 2.0 articles up for months, written manually, with keyword hyperlinked urls in them for backlinks..

Yeah I noticed this, all mine are hand created, hand written and 100% unique but no sign of them anywhere

Ok so where do we see what google is seeing? I thought that would be GWT and they are not showing up in there either

Just ensure they are indexed, if they are indexed in google, then google knows about it!

Just do a G search with the Web 2.0 URL in quotes. That'll tell you if it is article is indexed.

But from what I've been noticing in Yahoo site explorer, they aren't listing very many of my Web 2.0 articles. I am beginning to think that this is deliberate - Y trying to keep us from seeing every valuable link and keep us from gaming the system. Why else would they list thousands of spammy comment backlinks, but nothing from high pr sites like Squidoo, Wordpress, and Blogspot?

I couldn't say it better myself, I have very diverse links on some sites and it seems I only see a ton of spammy arabian blog comments..

As long as they're indexed you should be alright.
