Based on the successful implementations of other authoritative sites, like Wikipedia, Squidoo will now apply ?nofollow? markup to all outbound links. This means that any link shared on a lens will work exactly as it always has for you and for people visiting Squidoo, but search engines will no longer use it as a signal for ranking.

I don't consider a link from this site as anything more than - just another link among 1000s no big deal...

Who cares I guess only folks with all the eggs in one basket...

Since this 24x7 you might want to look at a PC that is designed as a server. Typically they have more robust fans and a beefier power supply with less emphasis on graphics.

Having Squidoo as a n00foll0w will mess up lots of people's SEO. This is especially true if it was used in a link wheel or as any "tier" property. All links going from Squidoo will be null and void. In fact, if you have used it to pass juice in any way you need to get rid of it and replace it with a d00f00l0W property. You will be able to build links to your Squidoo lens but forget about using it to pass any juice whatsoever!

If it's set up correctly this shouldn't effect it so much. But I guess if it was set up poorly this could definitely matter where one site was responsible for so much link juice throughout their network. Definitely worth checking out your setup for anyone that used Squidoo in their strategy.

It's still d0follow within the link list widget thing. Atleast my seo for chrome extension tells me that. The other links are n0follow though.

Ya it looks like it's ******** with the link list but it's because it links back to squidoo. When I did it, it says the link address is http://www.squidoo.com/www.mysite.com. Then it links back to a squidoo page that doesn't exist. Anyone else have this or know a work around?
