squidoo and hubpages NOFOLLOW

i am playing arround with market samurai trial and by analyzing seo competition for my keyword i saw that squidoo and hubpages are nofollow.

If that is true what is then the benefit of usgin squidoo and hubpages and how to use it

I thought Squidoo was ********? Looks that way to me.

Hi,maxbht.. yes, you are right.. links from Squidoo and HubPages sometimes may have this tag "nofollow", though all your links in your main module (text or article) are 100% ********... also Squidoo service often uses "nofollow" for adult content pages .. so it depends on what keywords you are playing around... here is one sample : hxxp://www*squidoo*com/DownloadSexandtheCityEpisodes ... if you look at the article, you will find the link inside the text "Download Sex and the City Episodes" which is "********" .. however, if you scrawl down to the bottom of the page, you can see that all other text links and picture links have "nofollow"...

I believe for hubpages you need a score of around 70 or higher before your links are do follow, not 100% sure though.

They are NO FOLLOW links on both Squidoo and Hubpages. But "G" still considers them authority sites so it helps in rankings for niche keyword terms.
