I'm not surprised. Obviously they took advantage of the huge popularity to make this... Nowadays it is very easy to manipulate the masses with what is in trend

I don't think BBC where paid to promote it, it's just that scammer is clever and lucky
"Squide Game" is a trend now, you can find it implemented on every business that have the ability to do it
