im trying to turn the ips into proxies using squid-cache. It works but only letting me use 128 ips. So im thinking maybe i should install two copies of it and split the ips it uses. that would solve my problem. But im thinking maybe there is another way. Does squid limit you to only 128 http ports? is there a way to change that?

I got it configuration properly, but i got 256 ips
you know the part where you add the "http_port xxx.xx.xx.xxx:8080"

im seeing that its only using 128 ips. I see this error in the log file

WARNING: You have too many 'http_port' lines.
    The limit is 128

    i have it setup like

    http_port xxx.xx.xx.xxx:8080

    acl d001 myip xxx.xx.xx.xxx

    tcp_outgoing_address xxx.xx.xx.xxx d001

just keep repeating the lines but changing the d001 and the ip

anyone know how to properly configure squid-cache? any links you can give me
