I'm still doing SEO on my blog and slowly rising my position. Lately I'm thinking about building a list with my blog. I plan to give e-books for free. Will my account be suspended for that?

No, your account is unlikely to be suspended. Building an e-mail list should not be a problem with Blogger.

No, many new bloggers even old bloggers give away free ebooks to build a list.

Its totally OK. You can do it in blogspot and any other platform too. I think the Blogspot is good for that in fact.

Squeeze pages are really effective if done properly but you need to have a really enticing offer. If offer a free report on some general topic, your visitors will just click away.

If you are giving away some good, solid content than squeeze pages work wonders.

It also depends if you are going to follow up. Many people build a list of leads and never do anything with them.

What makes you think that my friend? You are giving away valuable info for free. List building is perfectly fine.

Thank you for replies. I've registered with mailchimps but I have a problem. Where I can upload the file and get the direct link. I don't want the people to distract until they get what I'm giving them. I've tried to find, but all have some advertising pages before the download. Anyone know a site like that?
