It seems there are some people making a consistent amount of money with sports trading in places such as betfair and betdaq.

Although everyone keeps on saying that to achieve a constant profit margin on trading a great deal of knowledge is required.

I once before thought on trading as a part time business but at the time the only trading I knew was Forex trading and a great investement was needed to start making some profit.

With bet trading the market is somewhat different, it's a more accessible market with much more liquidity.

I know nothing about trading though, not in forex or bet trading, can anyone recommend me some good book or forum to read to learn everything I need to learn about bet trading?

    Thanks in advance

I will try to contact him, but nevertheless, aren't there any public forum, blog or etc that discusses trading methods aswell as a startup guide to sports trading?

I know there is a very well established guide for forex trading over at babypips, aren't there nothing similar for sports trading?

it might be more accessible but it has a lot LESS liquidity, even on betfair top events get about a couple of millions being matched, and that's about 5 or 10 soccer games and horse races per day, everything else is just a snail's game. a lot more gets matched in-play but that's a different story.
anyways, you shouldn't just dive in into anything if you're risking money, don't start with buying ebooks and trading software, that's all i'm sayin
i don't know if it's really easier. i spent quite some time fooling around with making a betting bot, then switched to manual trading, i made a bit of money but it was hardly worth the effort, so there, here's my story of unsuccess. I still think about all this stuff mostly just because I think it's kinda fun...
