back around jan/feb i wrote bout how much i enjoyed watching those old spice commercials from the superbowl...http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blackhat-lounge/177471-lol-new-oldspice-commercials.html LOL, just saw the spoof someone made on this commercial.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ArIj236UHs I'm surprised that marketers haven't come out with an ad similar to this to promote an ebook, clickbank, or guru money making offer.... I can just see it now.... look at your bank account, now look at mine now back at your bank account now back to mine sadly, you're bank account has less money than mine but if you stopped working a 9 to 5 job and working an online business like me, your bank account could look like mine.... i wonder how effective that pitch would be LMAO!
hahahaha nice idea, but too much work to do such a video. I wonder, how can it be done, to change locations in a video without realizing it ?
Naaah that's not what I meant That's to easy. Let me be more clear. This dude changes the location, and you don't realise that it is made up. OK, on this video it is easy they just used a wall or something like that between each parts. But when you look at the original, amazing - that's a uber-pro video editor behind that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owGykVbfgUE
Yeah that's mostly done with chromakey production like sheeter said. Pretty easy to do even with just basic studio equipment - video camera, chromakey backdrop and video editing software. Film the actor against a blue screen or green screen. Add the locations in the post production. When done by a professional studio it can really look amazing.
yeah chroma keying is easier then people think, especially as now there are so many drag and drop functions in editors. you do not need to be top shot to make a video like that, all you need is time and imagination, with those two you can make anything.
Well that's just amazing. I'm so used to seeing CG that I'm surprised when it isn't used for things like that. Apparently that commercial could have been made just as easily in the 1960's as it was now. I would have lost the $100 bet as well. Great find Maruk. Thanks.
