    Hey guys,
At the beginning of the month I published my ebook (a cookbook) as a print version with CreateSpace. It sells very well (over 90 sales/250$ only the print version this month) but the formatting is not comparable to a real professional cookbook. So for my next cookbook I plan a special layout for the print version.

The problem is that the formatting of a print book is a little bit tricky (different border sizes, header/footer, page count and so on), so I would prefer Microsoft Word. My idea is to work with invisible tables and different background colors/images in the cells. Eg: I want to share a page in two parts. On the left side I want to write the ingredients. On the right side the preparation. Different background colors, lines, pictures and stuff like that (so that it looks like a real professional cookbook).

I don´t know if my plan is good and I have no idea if CreateSpace accept such a MS Word layout? So what do you think about it? What software do you use to create a layout for a printed book? Do you know any good template sites or tutorials/wso´s?

    Wish you everything best,
