If your internet speed is fast enough you could host game servers. But I highly doubt home connection is fast enough for that.
One game you could host is minecraft, needs a lot of ram but a regular home network should be enough. Check the max players you can support here http://canihostaminecraftserver.com/

I have scrapebox but im not advanced at using it so maybe i need to take a good look at it also i have 100mb virgin fibre but i dont think i could run many even with that so ill leave that idea but thanks anyway

I once looked into this awhile back but aparently it works solely on your graphics card and only having 1-2 cards wouldnt earn you much
It would be cool to use it for nothing but online banking, PayPal, puchases, etc. This would be mean no more paranoia about computer being broken into and someone stealing your money. You have a dedicated, secure computer.

On a serious note if you ask us what to do, then probably it will end up i a corner gathering dust. You can use it for anything as long as you have a plan, but you lack a plan. So the obvious thing to do is come up with a plan. You can use it as a torrents machine, backup machine, web/software development machine, web scraper/crawler, etc. Personally I'd use it to scrape sites and post content 24/7 (using my custom programs) but it would need a serious internet connection.

No one can profitably mine bit coins anymore unless you create a trojan to take control of thousands of pc's.
I think its 4x or more longer to mine one now,and only 10% of the value of what it was in June(as of October) im not sure about the value now.

so many of you recommend using scrapebox so im going to look into that for sure, i have scraped sites beforeand posted to them but usually the success rate is low so i guess i would need to grab all the links that were auto approved then scrape some more and do the same but do people actually buy random backlinks that arnt targeted to there niche?.

A bit off-topic, but just out of interest how did RS update to break your bots ? I used to run quite a few bots on there but I've not been near it in quite a while now. All mine were just point-and-click, so I dunno how they would be able to stop botting.

all the bots now are memory bots that control the whole game for you using java's api instead of just searching for colors like the old one's did. There was 3 main botting companys and jagex's (runescape owners) got there lawyers to send some threatening email out to all the companys and since then2 of the companys have shut and the last one doesent update there bots anymore
First thing you should do is to set up a little magic piece of programs named Synergy
1 keyboard and 1 mouse accross the 2 computers..
And you can use it as another display which will increase your productivity.
umm think ill have to try this as it would make things much easier for me, is it just like having 2 monitors where you move your mouse to the edge of the screen and it will go onto the second computer

Yep exactly you can move your mouse just like if you had 2 screens.
A feature which is also cool is that the tool support copy / pasting which can save a terrific amount of time too. I used to use it over 4 computers, 2 windows 1 Mac os X and 1 Linux...
There is also a paid version called MaxiVista which can do the sharing mouse / keyboard thingy but it can also create a network monitor with your second PC and you can even drag windows from PC1 to PC2 just like if you had 2 monitors.
On a complete different matter, turning the back to the door of your office is bad in a feng shui point of view

I have been doing some research on building AA lists and it seems the recent yahoo update complicated things but it still can be done
