when spamming with PRStorm do i spam url that goes to the domain stats page or do i hit the main domain index page or anyother page besides the stats page? im a little confused

As I understood you're just hitting the main page of the site, but your backlinks then appear on the awstats page.

I dont think this is true. I've used it on site's that use e-referrer.com on their main page, and it does not show as a hit.

I'd like to know where on the site it's hitting, too.

to be on the safe side spam with any random url, which means if you site was a news site, the webmaster will think he has removed his site link for any reason, I think the good is to spam with any internal link..

that depends on what kind of site you are intending to promote, if you are about to promote and site with toys, then search for that specific toy's keyword..

so i just harvest any type of urls related to my niche, i always thought that for able for it to work i have to harvest sites that have their stats showin publicly and i have to hit the stats page or the main indexpage with prstorm?

yes, thats true, but since its referer spamming, that means most probably when someone checking their stats will be curious to see your site, becuase someone visited his site form your link, so in both cases (backlink and unique visitor) it helps..

I remember once somebody spammed my website with a strange link.
I was curious and visited his referer-site.
guess what I found .. a virus

Now I understand that he just used PRstorm

At first you must find urls with not protected awstats/webaliser page,otherwise its useless

To all : when you spamming any site with prstorm (or similar referspam software) you better hit internal pages randomly (using proxies also)! because many sites have refspam protection scritps
