For those that use auto-mated commenting or backlinking tools; how often do you make a backlink run to a single site?

For example I use ScrapeBox to comment spam and will make a 1000 comment run on each session. On domains that I know can withstand it - I will do this every day for 2 to 3 weeks. But of course, there comes a point, even on the most trusted and respected of domains that the spamming becomes 'too much' and the site/page becomes sandboxed.

In your experience...how much spamming is 'too much'? Do you often do a single comment / backlink run and find that is enough? Do you make a number of these runs across a number of days / weeks?

At what point do you stop with the spamming and feel it will have its desired effect?

I only stop when my keyword reach rank#1. Thats for my micro sites.

But for the main site I really do more precaution.

if me, i will never stop. as you know many competitors will attemp to get the #1 position, if they work harder, you will lose...

do backlinks regularly. if you do spam comments to get backlinks, you only get 10% or lower.
