Obviously godaddy is the most popular place to get domain names that are expiring and save them from becomming "dropped" and use them for a private network...

Is there any other website/service where you can buy domains that are expiring to use them for a private network? I'm not talking about domain backorder services that try to register a domain name when it becomes available. I'm talking about being able to bid/buy a domain name that has expired but not "dropped" and be able to use the domain without it being "dropped" on the whois?
