Hey everyone,

I have a soundcloud account which is around 2 years old now. I'm very active on it and regularly post my productions which i work very hard on as well as my mixes. I legitimately listen to a lot of tracks and genuinely 'like' sounds almost daily, 'comment' often and 'repost' occasionally. In the two years i have gathered a legitimate following of 500 users, with a variety of real comments on my sounds (I have never used a bot of any kind)

I'd like to expand the amount of followers i have, through real targeted users. From reading around I've learned that a way of doing this is following users and then unfollowing them shortly after, that way they get the notification, click it and get directed to your profile and then feel more inclined to follow you back. Of course this can be done manually, but with the use of a bot it can be done with much less work.

I'm wondering if there is preferably a free (or cheap) bot which can aid me in doing this. Idealy I would like to target a group of users who commented on a track of similarity to mine (targeted users who will like my similar music) auto follow them all, wait for some to follow back, and then unfollow all. Rinse and repeat and bring my following count up.

I am aware that soundcloud has a system of detecting this kind of thing and issuing bans. Could anyone give me some info and limits between doing what i require, and the consequences of being caught? As well as any other info i should know about. This is all simply to up my following and get some real exposure on my work.

Thanks very much in advance

i wouldn't risk loosing 2 year account with original sounds by using some free follow/unfollow scripts.
make new accounts and experiment with imacros or whatever . then promote your main account. as for limits - not sure, but 200-300 follows per day is safe

So surely i can stick within that boundary on my main account without issue, if there is a problem i wont be straight perm banned ill get a warning first? and then stop.

As for setting up a new account, i get a following, then repost things on my main? Could you point me in the right direction to get the follow/unfollow script/bot set up?

Thanks

i think i saw someone posting soundcloud imacros script here on bhw. or just check out some online tutorials. for one account imacros would be ok, but one account is nothing, so invest some time in learning some basic programming or hire a freelancer.
all i'm saying is don't mess up your real account experimenting with non-permitted actions. if you do botting use a lot of slave accounts and repost your main account.

I have a soundcloud bot, but it dose not have the functions your looking for. I have been adding a lot of new features to all my software and could add this one if you want. So let me get this right, you want a bot that will scrape the uses that like a given track, and then follow them? That sounds like it should not be to difficult to add for you if your still interested.

A lot of people are using bots on accounts, and doing just what you said. They don't care if they lose the account because they will just start another similar account. What is your aim with all these followers? Do you want those people to really interact with you? Will they interact once they find out you have unfollowed them? If so, no problem. If not, then what's the harm of leaving them added?
