    Hi all ,

I just got some question to ask. It like this, my friend run a local tuition business, so he want to use google ppc to get more traffic, so he approach me to help him. I am not really good at google adwords, hopefully can seek some expert help here. Thanks! :)

    1. Can i use multiple google/adwords account for different site?
This mean that i actually got my gmail account link to my current adwords account. But i wish to create a new one just to use on my friends tuition site. Will i get ban if i use 2 different account with the same IP ?

    2. I also wish to use voucher on them, i know i can get them at few bucks from dp or here. That why i hope i can use mulitple account and activate his Credit Card or maybe even a VCC from entropay.

    3. Is there a ebook or video guide i can view or see to learn more about google ppc ? Like good keyword or good ads

    4. What can i use to track the ROI? Google Analytic? Google Webmaster tool?

    5. How much do people charge for ppc management service? what do they usually do ?

    6. Lastly, i had a analytic account on let say a example.com , but my adwords account for example.com is different from my analytic account. That why i can't track any click. So what can i do ?

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE FEEDBACK AND HELP IN ADVANCE :D:D:D

#1) Unlikely you will get banned. I'm going through this issue right now. I had my own adwords account and now I just got a new job and the company has their own, so I am trying to invite my google account to manage their adwords and am unable cuz i have my own account. even if i shut down my adwords account i still cant. which reminds me i need to call them. i think google has to be aware of extenuting circumstances like these. so its unlikely.

#2) Don't know about that one but I would play it safe. I am a white hatter, so hey don't listen to me too much, but I think you're asking for trouble there. MAYBE if you had multiple credit cards...

#3) do a youtube search for the learnwithgoogle channel. sorry i can't post links yet. google help center is also very handy, small search box appears in the lower left hand corner in your google adwords interface. get familiar with it. beyond that get used to calling google. A LOT. 1-866-2-GOOGLE

#4) Google Adwords tracks its own conversions, so if you are not counting on having any sales come from organic traffic, it is more than sufficient. otherwise i suggest you start learning google analytics. do a youtube search for the ConversionUniversity channel. for adwords tracking log into your account and in the top menu hit Tools & Analysis > Conversions. In there somewhere you can create a tracking code that should be copy and pasted into the body of your "Thank You Page"or whatever page first appears on your site immediately after the conversion process has been submitted.

#5) I'm currently doing the rounds with a company called White Shark Media. Haven't actually accepted their services but their reps seem pretty knowledgeable and they seem legit from what I researched. Google them and do some price comparisons.

#6)You can track as many websites as you want from Analytics, but each site has a different analytics tracking code. You need to add the 2nd site to analytics and create and install the new tracking code. Please don't do like my marketing department did here at my new job and install the same code on 2 different websites unless you actually want to mix up your traffic data like that.

P.S. to question #4 btw, Google Webmaster Tools is a great tool for monitoring your SEO metrics and stuff like that, but really has little value for conversion analysis or anything like that. That's not to say that you shouldn't learn to use it though, especially if you are planning to implement an organic traffic strategy as well as PPC. Bing Webmastertools is also helpful if you are running backlink campaigns as Google never gives you the total picture of your backlink profile, only a small sample, Bing doesn't hold back like that. Plus you get $50 to spend in Bing Ads just for signing up for Bing Webmaster Tools. Beyond that I would get familiar with Keyword Spy and do some analysis and reverse engineering on any competitors before you get started ponying up $$$ for PPC ads. Even the limited information you get from a free account there is still shockingly eye opening and useful. Good luck to ya.

what you can do is link your friends analytics and adwords account then set up a user profile for your own account within his accounts. You can do the same for adwords, but like i said, i had my own adwords account and google isn't letting my user profile in to their adwords because of it. I would imagine if you already have an analytics account it will create the same problem for you. If you're current adwords/analytics accounts are useless to you, I would go thru the process, set it all up and then call google and see if they are willing to scrub your old accounts and allow you to access his from your own profile. beyond that there is very little you can do.

Oh, btw. I didn't think about this yesterday, but one easy solution IF you don't have your own adwords account would be to register your friends website on your own analytics account instead of making his own, and then linking his adwords with your analytics account. Not 100% sure if it will work because I don't know if google will allow accounts with different email addresses to be linked, but it's worth a shot.

    1. I've done it multiple times, had 3 different adwords accounts set-up on the same computer. You won't will get banned, especially if the billing information is different. Hell, two of mine use the same CC, when I set the second one up it went under review (not the ads, my whole account) and after a phone call and a couple days it was back up and running, no problems.

2.Each time I've started a new Adwords account I've received a $100 credit, you can search for it before you open the account and sign up through the link google offers. Not sure if that's available everywhere. Now, if you are looking to create multiple account all for your friend's site and use credits on all of them, I would advise against that. I'm not saying you can't do it, but if your friend has put a lot of effort into his site and is looking to build a legitimate business I do't think it's worth the risk.

3.There is a lot of good information in the google adwords exam certification learning center. A lot of it is general, but it is useful.

4.Like likwidneo said, the best way to track conversions is to link your adwords account to the analytics account for the site. From analytics you can set-up a lot of different conversion tracking tools.

5.I think most places charge a percentage of the total advertising budget, and it varies by the size of the budget. Example - your friend can spend $500 a month on ppc, you charge 10% of the budget so $50 goes to you and $450 is spent on clicks. Depending on the potential it might be better for you to get your friend to give you a percentage of the profit from ppc.

6.Have your friend set-up his own analytics account, add you as an admin user. When you log into your analytics you will be able to access his account. Link his Adwords account to his Analytics account.
