    Hello,

I am sorry, but i am very frustrated and saturated with the amount of old SEO tips and second world war era knowledge that people are sharing on the internet, which have no knowledge of computer science and search engine algorithm. They even do not know the basic algorithm equation for search mechanism and they are called grus of link building and SEO. If it continues to happen like this, in 2 to three years, search engines will completely overcome this unskilled knowledge that is floating around.

We badly need people of caliber like Lerry page and Sergey in BH SEO that can really turn the game around and end the supremacy of the search engines. The problem is that we are not getting the relevant and qualified people in IM. People like you and me who just did not perform well in the study, choose to do Internet Marketing. We need to sharpen our skills otherwise it will not be a fun playing with pandas, penguins in the Google Zoo. Who knows, in year or two Google will release a giant Alligator and it will be all over.

An healthy debate is welcomed on this topic, which is real essence of the forum.

    David

David, SEO is playing a company at it's own game. They set the rules. You, I, or a genius computer scientist will never beat them in the long run.

Also, it seems like Google is deliberately "churning" the search results in order to get site owners to pay for reliable placement - i.e. buy into adwords program as main traffic source

A couple of years ago I saw some stats about just how much traffic Google got - was not that much compared to the combined traffic that facebook, twitter, etc. got - and SEO is irrelevant if you are just siphoning traffic from established sites that are already ranking well - e.g. squidoo pages, forum signatures, blog comments, etc.

Please don't overgeneralize. I did well in my studies. And as far as I know we DO have a lot of more than 'qualified' IMers here in BHW.

Yeah, but we don't have brand like McDonald etc. We are just common people with little resources. In the end search engines will be playing tango with these big giants in the bar and we will be sitting in the corner.

I think your statement is asinine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes there are quite a few people that are not cut out for IM because they are lazy and want things to be handed to them.

But it honestly is very simple to rank a website. The people that hit their websites with 100's or thousands of links a day are stupidly going to drop there site. But many people on this forum know what their doing. They just don't choose to share all their knowledge with every fly by night person who comes along on this forum.

Jimmy, SEO is not primary industry but it is a reaction to search engine updates. The days are over when you write an optimized title and you shoot to the first page. Its all about money now unfortunately and all blames goes to search engines who are shaping internet as a paid industry.

Very right, that people share incomplete information. But thousands of PhD computer scientists sitting behind www (.)searchengine(.)com are far ahead of us. The free backlink building techniqes are coming to death...

:) why do we need mcdonals here??? We are like assasins not an army - we get our order and 100 websites lose the fight against us..

If we are against small army - just use senuke, zeno or even a bad-boy xrumer (they will be your navy) :)

... all we have to do is - not to be stupid, lazy, but educate ourselves and evolve ;)

    Peace :) ... Life's good :)

This is a company that uses domains to redirect to their site. You go to the link you gave and it is only a cover page with links to CYBWELL and everything is in German. It is a consultancy firm.

The search engines are not giving worth to the links now even if we compare it with previous year. I got my sites ranked with just blog commenting and now its not. I have not seen any huge update in these BH softwares after Google opened their zoo on the internet farm since the last year. Same old techniques, some getting success but most of them are not.

Because it is not the software. It is the person who is using it!

right, but senuke or scrapebox will not place your links on bbc or Washington post. I am not against the softwares, i am also the user but reality is that things are changing now abruptly.

Hmm, Nothing will put your links on the washington post unless you really have news worthy content. How about your link to this searchengine com? Are you advertising?
