Ok, first of all I feel like a jerk off asking this question, but I have been immersed in this board for the last 3 days and I'm not getting anywhere. I'm so hooked on this s#it that I can't get enough, so I want to make some progress.

My question is, I created 2 sites, one with Wordpress and the other with Weebly. I have been building all kinds of back links. I have bookmarked it in social networks and I still have not been able to get it anywhere on Google. When I do a check for the back links only 6 show up! I have paid for some on fiverr, as well that don't show up either. It's been 2 weeks as of today. The weebly site isn't even indexed! Am I being too impatient?

I also have been running a blog for 4 years that has a Page Ranking of 1, is there any clever way to utilize this? I have added a link there but that doesn't show up in my back links either.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

How are you checking for backlinks? Try doing a search for the username you used (in quotes) when you created the accounts and see if you get anything. Using the link: search in Google is a complete waste of time and while Yahoo does show more they do not show all of them.

What kind of links have you been building? How many total have you built?

And yes at two weeks I would not really start worrying yet.

Take a look at the keywords you're targeting. Although two weeks isn't very long, it you're not using the correct KW's then two weeks might as well be 2 years.

Market Samurai is a great paid tool for KW research. Google's Wonder Wheel is a good free one. Also, if you're running Firefox, download their SEOquake (or a similar) tool. That way you can find out what your competition is targeting.

Thanks Volund for the response. I have been using SEO Quake for the most part, and it's been only showing 6 and 4 of those are the same. I found a back link checker on this board yesterday in a post and it showed me that I had over 600, which is more accurate.

In regards to type of linkbuilding - I have been doing it all manually. I have written 5 unique articles with the link in the author bio and submitted those to 5 different article sites. I have completed 72 Profiles on a list I recieved with forums, I have comment spammed 110 sites, and I have 4 personal blogs, 1 which has a PR 1
rating. Not sure what that means but I think it's should be good for something.

Yesterday I started using social bookmarking and then I used a method I also read here yesterday of creating a list of your back links, then dropping them into an Rss Host and then submitting that resulting list to feedlisting.

I have a lot of ideas, I have a decent amount of capital, more drive and determination then I know what to do with, I just need to put something together that works. Not to mention I have an extremely addictive personality. This is my drug of choice. Thanks again for the help.
