start with python and selenium
make some simple scraper and move your way up learning other tech
learn javascript get familiar with APIs and databases and as you go on you will have to learn a lot more things
as for the time to learn it all depends on what you want to achieve with these bots and how much you are already familiar with programming

I build bots and automation (Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, etc)
also do marketing and many more things right now also working with a Onlyfans agency to help them with bots/automation
getting into mobile automation as well for them rn finishing up IG bot for adding links and @ to the Instagram bio and then going to make Instagram account creator on mobile to reduce the suspension rate compare to the IG browser version of account creator.

besides this I have also have my eyes set on a Tiktok bot and as well as Bumble and Tinder bot.
Bumble bot is next after Instagram then might look into tiktok bot.
