Something weird is going on with my amazon affiliates website...

So, until a month ago I had in average 40 daily click.
But over the last two weeks I get an average of 80 daily clicks for apparently no reasons.
The bad thing is the conversion rate is dropping. So these 40+ daily click I'm getting are not generating conversion. Is it possible these +40 clicks I get daily are from bots sent by someone? How do I check this? Do I risk something with my amazon account?

Could be for various reasons, but I'd be careful with any diagnosis based on a very low number of total clicks. E.g., if you average conversion is like 1:100, you could easily see 1000 clicks without a conversion, then suddenly 5 conversions in the next 100 clicks, then again 5 in the next 200 clicks. For a realiable answer you need a statistically revevant number of overall clicks.

You Amazon account is fine as long as you don't send really huge numbers of fishy clicks and constantly stay way below 1% conversion rate. In general, Amazon is very relaxed, they aren't banning people for minor violations like Google Adsense.

This is what I can tell you OP:
Use cloudflare to protect it from bots or such, a majority of them would be eliminated!
The weirdness of this cannot be identified just yet since the information you shared is inadequate to analyze what might be happening but then as long as it's not hurting you, I guess it's fine upto this point.
However, if you have any analytics program such as G-analytics (which I am sure you must) then you could get more insights from where they are coming from and the IPs could be blocked from htaccess if you think it's suspicious.
Anyway, let us know more on this if you discover anything.

You have to check the links, if they are working well. Plus i would advice you to check if someone use the same promo for the product promotion. You can do it with help of spy tool.

Also, use plugins like Akismet and cloudfare to protect you from bots.
Increase in the number of clicks may indicate that your keywords are going higher, Have you checked that ?
