One time i had to get up because i had something important to do on a summer day, Anyway i needed to wake up at 6:30 and i had no alarm or anything, So i decided to keep telling my self "Wake up at 6:30" And kept repeating it every once in a while through out the day, When it was time for me to sleep for some odd reason i decided to take a piece of paper and wrote "Wake up at 6:30!!!" next to me... The next day i wake up by myself,No alarms,No one was up but me, And i look at the piece of paper, still next to me, I go downstairs to check the time and it was Exactly 6:30,Not even a minute earlier or later, Has a similar experience ever happened to someone? Putting your mind to something and it suddenly happens? Just found it strange...

Happens to me all the time. I guess that your brain aknowledges (I may not be spelling right) that you have to do a certain thing and acts accordingly.

Well, we all have our inbuilt clocks. I've my alarm clock set at 6:30, yet I always awake 1min to a few seconds to 6:30, and get to switch the alarm off.

Yeah i have done this before. Everybody has a natural body-clock, it just takes time to train it I think.

Absolutely. When I was in the Army, coincidentally, we usually had to wake up at 6:30. I hated the loud alarm that they played through the loudspeakers, so I set my watch alarm to wake me up at 6:25, still, I would regularly, let me underline REGULARLY, wake up at 6:23 exactly.
    Amazing...

I thought I was the only one haha, this happens to me all the time. I hate the sound of alarms, especially the clock that sits right behind my bed, but I have it set to 6:45 and every morning I'll wake up at 6:41-6:43 and will be able to turn off my alarm before it goes off. I don't know if its because I hate the sound so much that I do this, the only possibility i could come up with :)

Had a crazy hippy friend tell me that all you had to do was just think about the time you wanted to wake up and just picture that time on the clock next to your bed. Thought it was crazy until I tried it and it actually seemed to work. I absolutely hate waking up to an alarm, messes up my whole day.

Yes you have a body clock and sometimes it can work very well especially when you know you have somewhere to be. Happens to me quite a lot when I wake up a few minutes before my alarm when I have something important to do.

I was curiously going through the comments, expecting someone to point out the correlation of subconscious to the story what you call as strange but since no one has yet mentioned it, so I would like to present the theory. When I read this, I realized you used your subconscious mind and instilled a thought. Mind you, our brain never stops functioning until the time we die. While we are asleep, even if our entire body is at peace, brain is at constant action. I have tried this method many a times in the past and have successfully achieved positive results. It's about feeding something to your subconscious, in your case unintentionally, but we can also do the same thing intentionally. Here are some basic pointers which one can use to memorize or store anything in ones brain.

    1) Repeating the same thing: By repeating the same thing again and again, we are engraving the information into our subconscious mind. Positive affirmations use the same theory as used by OP. Friend, what you call strange, is actually one of the best methods to change our lives drastically. We can just do the same thing and get whatever we want. That's what we call The Law of Attraction.

    2) Writing: Writing what exactly you want is yet another method for turning your desire into a reality. Once your start writing, you gradually are instilling the information in your subconscious, which then will take necessary actions, sometimes even without your knowledge. Tell me, how many us notice that we are breathing until we are told about it or we smell something strange. In normal temperature and surrounding, our conscious mind doesn't gives a damn about it. Here, the subconscious takes charge of such actions, and similarly when you jot down what exactly you want, you indirectly send signals to your subconscious mind that Boss I want this thing to be done at any case and it is now your responsibility to get it done.

PS: Just noticed that IamNRE has mentioned the name, so cheers to him. :)
