Someone's Trying to Log In to My Account

Okay, I just received an email from BHW saying that someone tried to log in to my account with an incorrect password at least 5 times. It also states that the person is prevented from trying to log in to my account for the next 15 minutes.

An IP address has been provided. I'm not sure why someone is trying to access my account. Anyone else experienced the same? What does BHW do to prevent this? What happens after he tries again after 15 minutes?

Contact a Mod and let them know what's going on.

And change your password to something stronger, just to be on the safe side.
 
Sounds to me like some script kiddie trying to brute force the 5 attempts limitation will frustrate most of these folk unless you have an easy password like 0000
 
Make sure your password is secure, maybe change it. I think It'd be hard to stop people coming in and just logging in with wrong credentials, but for the sake of 15 mins, they aren't doing any harm. After that, they have to fill out the CAPTCHA, so if they really wanna waste their time...
Bare in mind, it stops THAT IP from logging in for the given time, not you, so just ignore the emails if they carry on.

Got the same email 1 hour ago.

Someone has tried to log into your account on Black Hat Forum Black Hat SEO with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 115.77.132.217
 
Good to know I'm not the only one! I thought that I made an enemy here and they're looking for some payback. Haha!
