    Hi guys,
just noticed that someone created a blogger website using my content (comparative tables). He even uses my images (hosted on my server).
There is no contact on the page, he removed my affiliates links on the pictures but didn't put his... so I don't quite grasp the utility of it.
The website is not linking to any other from what I see.
Maybe he plans to do that later?

Do you guys have any suggestion on what to do ?

To start, is there a way to make my images not usable on other websites?

To make your image uncopiable you need a unique coding, get a web designer if you are serious and have a chat.

Report it to google-blogger, and after confirming that the content originally belong to you, it will be automatically delete by blogger spam team. (it might take 2 to 1 week to get reply from google)

It's a DMCA violation. Notify the host (google) and they'll most likely remove it.

    Hotlinking is not DMCA violation.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inline_linking

Copyrighted material also needs to be creative not just a table that compairs prices.(not sure what yours is if it's just "ebay $20" "amazon $25")

But Google will get it removed anyway if you contact them.

You can use something like Cpanel's hotlink protection to kill the images he uses on his blogger page if he loads them directly from your server. Also as everyone pointed out, just report it to blogger and they will remove it. I've experienced waiting times of up to a month though with this process. Good luck!

It is when it's his content, with his images. He doesn't have permission to use those images on his site, whether hotlinked or not.

    OK. Rename your images,
then upload some other images to your server
and give them the old/original names.
These could be p*rn images, or an advertisement
    for your site... Whatever.
    Have fun!

would take me too much time for such a poor blog page he did, but I'll keep your idea if next time a bigger site does the same :)

This is why I wouldn't bother ever again creating any content for the Net. Everything is stolen, copied, pirated, ripped, thank god those days are over!

What do you do to IM all day, sit on your thumbs? :p

Didn't they remove adsense from Blogger? So IF he is trying to get adsense revenue it would be pointless? That's a big assumption that it is about adsense at all obviously.

google refused to take action... I'll just block images then and check from time to time to see what's the point of his blog :)

Sign up for cloudflare and activate the hotlink option, sign up to tynt.com and follow their directions. Everything someone copies from your site, you'll gain backlink. Goodluck!

thats what I'd do, especially if it's a free hosted site. But I'd use images from a fatty porn site, with embedded text claiming to be his girlfriend/mother/sister etc.

Anywhere in the world building WP sites.
Besides taking suggested actions, I urge you to promote your site consistently.

Build links, social media, whatever. If you have an authority site, this problem appears on a daily basis and you should just neglect it. If you're indexed first, then it becomes minor problems.

Sometimes duplicated content outranks you, but who care. Just keep building content and promote. Also have good monetization options. Build list. Focus on assets.

After a while, competitors who are less sophisticated will close their sites down for lack of revenue while you thrive more and more.

Spend less time worry. Start taking massive action.
