    Hello

I realized that someone is blasting 1000's of links to my site every single day. It's annoying but I am able to hold them at the top page.

Google is such a dirty game and if the fella doesn't know SEO, the competitor will be able to blast them to the ground without them knowing .

The retard actually send me an email saying that he F up my links. I bet hes a coward because if he isn't he could send me all his details . Why hide behind the wall? COWARD

    Ray

    Hi Ray,

have you googled the email address he sent it from? or checked for an X originating IP? any kind of info you can trace. I am posting on this thread because I am curious as to how you solve this. Will google help the OP? or is it a matter of handling it.

He did it using a contact form on my site. Thus all the details he filled in was FAKE. I couldn't track him except for the IP Address and it says that it is from America

@zen Blocking the IP is useless cause this is SEO not an attack on the site. I hereby suggest a new feature to Google. Only those with passwords can blast links to their site. That way, no others can do it.

No going to happen, good luck and hope his negative blasts turn out good for you. I've seen young sites taking damage from negative blasts, but some aged and authority sites actually ranked higher/secured their position after such a blast. Fingers crossed buddy!

See if his actual IP is in the email header he sent you, if it is either send him a cease and desist order (mention his Ip and threaten to sue, also mention something like ( we are prepared to subpoena any proxy providers to reveal your identity.). The way he's acting makes him sound like a dumb kid, so he will likely back-down.

If that doesn't work you can also do something a little more blackhat, like launching a ddos/dos attack directed at his ip, pretty much blocking his access to the internet.

I read in an ebook that, if you stick with quality link vs quality content, then no one can take your site down of top 1 google. Maybe the keyword will dance but it will comeback to top 1.

The thing is... competitor don't do neg SEO by blasting your site with quality link and quality content.

Yes, if your site is of some age and this maybe a good thing, and you may go to WMT to cancel the links or response this to Google and ask help from them ...my site get this same situation and later I cut-out the links from the unknown site, now it's normal and of good ranks than before...

If I were you I'd start using some SERP tracker, and study it's effects. There are cases of people gaining in position long term from people trying to neg seo them, and of course cases where they were successful.

Hope you post back and keep this thread updated for a bit OP...

It will fire back and sometimes even help you rank higher. use a tool like link detox to disavow the spammy links if you want.

I don't think the disavow tool would be that useful, will it? So far, I am still sitting on the top and hey, i do think his spammy links are helping me out!
