I had a site making great adsense money for a nice niche. Someone found out I was making good money, copied my site EXACTLY, I am talking the exact wordpress theme, layout, most of the META details, some content etc.
He is now #1 above me (curious what the hell kind of SEO he is doing) and I am #2 but I saw a HUGE drop in adsense income. I am pretty pissed. Anything I can do? Report him anywhere?

I'm sorry about that dude, The only think you can do is clickbomb his adsense in order to get him banned, but he could do the same in revenge, you also could file a claim to adsense but you have few chances for you claim to be proceeded.
Another way is getting a lawyer, if you made "good money", you should be able to pay one.

PM the guy on BHW that you told your URL to and ask him to delete his new site.

Other than that, I am sorry. That's a crappy spot to be in..

Yeah, it's hard to believe how awful Google can be, in 2012, at figuring out where content originated.

    1. Gather your proof, the more the better.

    2. Contact the site owner and tell them that they don't have your permission to use your content and they need to take it down immediately. Do not send them the proof. In your case it may be harder to get them to cooperate if they're making money.

    3. If they ignore or refuse to comply within 24 hours it's time to contact the host with the proof and a request to take down the site. When finding out who the host is don't just go by the nameservers because people are known to buy a VPS and pretend to be a hosting company so they can filter complaints, especially if they like to do shady things like steal entire sites. Check out who owns the IP that the site is hosted on and send it there.

I have used this method several times and it's never failed me. No need to file a DMCA. No need to involve Google's prying eyes.

This is the exact step that I would have taken if I was you. This is the most legal and lethal way ;-)

But then, if nothing works, DMCA is the only legal way that you should think of...

I think he changed most of content but used same layout and main keywords, I have same story, there is nothing you can do, actually you can damage his site with negative seo if it worth it

You could always outrank him, look at your content and see if his is better in the LSI's.

Look at his onpage and see what he did that you didn't, could be judicious use of extended H tags will help you.

If he did copy your site content, file DCMA on him.

If all he did was copy your idea, then do better than you, props to him, you have to take your spot back. Find out what he has that you lack, there should be something. If all things are equal, better on page SEO will tip the scales.

Start using "rel=me" to tag your content with.

Look especially at adsense near the top of your site, I understand this I beginning to matter a lot.

If they didn't copy your content, they did not copy your site exactly.

If it's possible please, PM me the links to both sites. I had the same problem recently and managed to solve it. If it's the same problem I'll post the answer here, since I can't PM yet.

Too many people don't realize that they don't own the design of their site. This may or may not be the OP case, but it floors me why they think that using a propitiatory system like wordpress, and a template designed by some 3rd party somehow gives them full ownership rights to everything about their "site". I've seen people who THOUGHT somebody ripped them off, but turns out they just picked a very common template.

The issue is whether or not he actually stole/copied your content. If he did, file the DMCA complaint and get his hosting taken down asap. Then you need to figure out how much money he cost you. If it's alot call a lawyer and go after him. Just make sure you make copies of everything he's done before you file the DMCA complaint.

    OK then.
Once I noticed someone copied my site exactly. It means that that guy copied all the content, WP theme, images, etc. And he made it in such a way that when I change something on my site it immediately changes on his site. So I decided to paste links into the content so that he would link to me. But he changed the links also, so that they led to the exact copies of my pages on his site.
I asked about this on some hackers forum. They said that the guy use the soft that request to my server. After couple of hours thinking I realized the point. If he requests to my server then he use some User-agent. I tracked his IP and banned it in .htaccess file using this code:
where "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" is his user-agent's IP address.
After that I saw 403 Error on his site.

That's the story. Sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language. I can't write grammaticaly right.
Before that, I wrote an abuse to his hosting provider but it had no effect.
I also use rel=author tag and link to my G+ profile. You should also.

You should contact his Domain, Hosting, and most importantly Payment Providers (Adsense, CB etc.)
