So I created a site about a week ago in a pretty competitive niche. I've managed to get my site #8 for the last 3 days and this is all normal for me. But I went to check my backlink count and I just saw some links coming from adult toy porn sites.

I've never actually pissed someone off enough to start blasting my site with this stuff and so what do you guys do to combat this the best way? I don't know who's posting the links so I can't blast back with any of my software.

I know how to find High Pr auto approve niche specific comment links thanks to SB but I don't know if comments will be enough.

For those who have had this happen what is your approach to it?

    Thanks!

Uhm, you can blast my site back if you want with any porn links, that would actually be doing them a favor.

The bright side is you now have your anchor text diversity taken care of, so you can feel free to link to your site with the same keyword anchor text and wouldn't get penalized for over optimization.

If anything bad happens to you, its going to be because they did a short blast and then nothing which might sandbox you for a while, best thing to do is do your own backlink campaign and keep it going.

Some people think doing adult keyword backlinks in and of itself is going to hurt a site, but if you were actually an adult site how would you get your backlinks then? I get adult backlinks all day long and can only say they're beneficial.

Thanks for your input. I'm a fence rider when it comes to them being good or bad. And since I have never had it happen to me I have no proof to say it does or doesn't.

You do bring up a valid point, I don't have to diversify my anchor text now.

I can see the logic behind your reasoning, like I mentioned, I don't have personal experience with this type of situation so it's nice to here your view points.

Maybe I over reacted when I started seeing the links. I'm just going to continue with my normal link building.
