    Hey,

I need some pointers on how to set up my video details to optimize them for Youtube.

This is what I am going to implement, and I am wondering if you'd recommend it:

(Lets say I am trying to rank a product this is what I'll do)

    Title:

    Code:
Best KEYWORD Review Online | KEYWORD Product Review

    Description:

    Code:
    LINK

(A little blurb on the video where I use the KEYWORD once)

5-10 RELATED TAGS TO THE KEYWORD
    Tags:

    Code:
    Anything related to the keyword

Is this properly optimized video details for Youtube SEO?

Also, do you have any other tips/tricks to ranking the video on Youtube (and on Google)

    Thanks!

High view retention with full length views, some likes, some control comments (fake comments made by you), and maybe some fake subscribers subbing from your video. If you really want the low down, its view length that is king on YouTube. Videos with a decent length (over 60 seconds) and 100% view retention will always rank higher than ones with millions of views and less view length. Best option is to either use sites like ViewTubeTrain (their viewer DON'T buy their shitty short views) or buy proxies and view your videos fully yourself.

I think you have the description and title well optimized.

It is helpful if you upload a HD quality video. Also, CC and annotations will help. I recently started using timestamps on my videos. In the description typing 00:25 would create a link that fast fowards/skips you to the 25 second marker on the videos timeline.

Have you seen ranking improvements when you put a timestamp in your description?

I made a slight variation to my title, I was wondering if this is overoptimization if I add the keyword a third time in the title like so:
    Code:

Best KEYWORD Review Online | KEYWORD Product Review | KEYWORD

I've only done it to one video so far. My idea behind it is that the more of youtube's features you use the better you will rank, because you're a more complete video or channel. I saw it done on howto specifically about YT optimization

Now that I think about it, that could help in it ranking. Googles all about people and their experiences, so if you add small things like that maybe itll make you seem more human and that you're trying to engage the viewer
