Guys.....

I've used DMR and IFrame for a few different CPA's now with a few different networks and it sure seems like the networks are clamping down. Clicks and conversions are only credited when the merchant's link is clicked directly. Credits go away when the IFrame or DMR is introduced. Its pretty consistent and nobody here seems to have any clue about it.

Either people who claim that they are using these techniques successfully with certain networks are full of shit or most people just aren't aware that it is an issue.

....end of rant......

Agree with the problem to get credit ...

kinda sucks, need take time someday and try find solution for that , maybe you can check does it give cookie when using iframe. doest the advertiser require they complete information field too (would be retarted imo)

hope you can get something off :)

Well, the offers I've tested with so far do pay on just the email submit. I've confirmed by going right out to the merchant LP and submitting. Now, I did find an offer today that works with DMR. However, as soon as the offer is is framed to show just the submit form-field, it no longer gives credit.

Or maybe you do not know how to do it properly... i used a variation of the cpa iframe submit and worked for me.

Would the Prosper202 cloacking feature still work as someone else mentioned in another post?

Nick...

There isn't much to really do. I am using IFRAME code that I obtained from this forum somewhere. I create a landing page and then frame url1.php in a small box, which then DRM to url2.php, which then points to the merchant submit page.

Now having said that, I very well could be screwing something up somewhere but I just can't imagine where. Would you mind sharing with me what you are doing or where I can find it?

I've been poking around these forums for a few days now and haven't gotten anywhere.

isn't the prosper202 cloaking just a simple double meta refresh?

Have you done any testing to see what the referrer is on the landing page?

Instead of pointing url2.php to the merchant, point it to url3.php and echo out the referrer.
PHP:
<?php
echo $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
?>

If you see anything suspicious (like the URL of your original page where you set the iframe) you may have your answer. You could also try dropping your own cookie to test and make sure the frame setup isn't interfering with the cookie somehow.

I'm not so much worried about who the referrer is. I know it blanks it out as I did that test when I first started with the DRM. My biggest concern and what I cannot figure out for the life of me is why I'm not seeing credit for submissions made via the Iframed email submit.

People here say they are doing this successfully. I can't see how they are. I'm hoping Nick will provide some insight into what he's doing. Maybe I've got a blind spot and I'm just missing something totally obvious.

I'm puzzled by why you're having problems as well. I DMR all links from all my LPs and i get credited with everything because i have my pixel on the confirmation page. And i use Prosper202. But i don't use an iFrame fwiw.

What i do, is as so. I have an LP, that when someone lands on it it regs click, there's JS from Prosper and another tracker to register these clicks and referers. Then all links out go to cloaked link, which goes to DMR, which goes to cloaked prosper tracking link, which ends on LP. It all works fine, prosper registers clicks and conversions, exactly as indicated at the CPA company.

Unfortunately, I have no use for merchant landing page. I know with 100% certainty that my method of driving traffic will result in near 100% CTR (not that I'd want that - I'd have to throw some junk traffic at it).

However, I need to be able to IFRAME the email submits for it to work properly in addition to DMR.

wow bro that jsut sounded like rocket science . Guess I will not be trying anything like that soon .

If you feel so inclined, providing us with the networks you're attempting this technique with would be helpful in gathering the information necessary to give you an answer. Not all CPA companies are equal.

I was afraid someone would ask that. I'd rather not disclose them since I'm not sure what AMs are floating around here. Suffice it to say thy are a few of the major ones.

If you're using the major networks, then something is wrong with your methodology, plain and simple. There absolutely are people who are making money using iframes and DMR with most of the major networks. Just because they aren't successful with something, doesn't mean that "people here are full of shit." It just means that you haven't been able to repeat their success. You might want to take that into consideration before creating threads with confrontational titles that, more often than not, cause the people that can help you, to ignore you.

Oldenstyle....

Chill bro :) I knew what the title would bring....That's why I wrote it. I've put up a thread or two before and didn't get 1/3 of the response that this one is getting. Bad publicity is better than no publicity ;)

Even if what you say is true, there has only been 1 person who has come to this thread and stated he is using IFRAMEs successfully and I'm hoping he is kind enough to share what he is doing because I've heard from just as many people saying it doesn't work.

Basically, this is what I am doing.

I create a DMR using a landing page, url1.php, & url2.php.

url1 points to url2
url2 points to merchant landing page

landing page contains an iframe of url1.php and it's just big enough to show the email submit form.

Everything looks nice. The email form blends in with the site nicely but submissions made do not get credited.

Dependending on the offer/network iframes might or might not work. Personally, I've done a DRM test with email submits(incent) and it went just fine. I got around 50 leads in about 6 hours. My advice to you would be to avoid using iframes and think of more clever ways to get the lead.

thaorius....

That is exactly what I am suspecting. I am certain I can capture upwards of 50-100 leads per day with my method but IFRAMing is a critical component. It looks like I'll have to bail on it though, unfortunately.

bummer:(

Wow, I thought I was the only one suffering from this problem. The way my PPC ad is placed I should get close to 60-70% CTR, but I'm only getting around 10%. I am also Iframing the merchants landing page. I am using Neverblue ads. Just seems like all the submissions aren't being recorded....
