How many hours of sleep do you get a night?

I'm running off 3 hours of sleep and I have only 3-4 hours of sleep tonight because I'm catching up on a lot of work. On top of that, I have a head injury. I usually aim for 7, but I have nonstop work so that's not going happen for a while.

For those of you who get 5 or less hours of sleep a night: How do you stay focused.

    All the best, tAG

Hopefully if you are putting in that many hours its going to pay off to where you can
    start outsourcing.

Sleep is really a must thing to maintain things properly.... my target is to atleast sleep for 6 or 7 hours a day... and i do it this in parts.... 4-5 hours in night and 1 -2 hours in day....

Some time a 20 minute powernap in day time will make you feel refreshed... so my suggestion is try to sleep in day as well...

I used the Zeo extensively before their website got taken down, and determined i need 7 hours 15 minutes to feel perfect the next day. So rather than work with an alarm I set a timer. Doesn't always work out, but I try to get the minimum amount of sleep I need to feel good.

Bravo. I've been waiting for someone to say something along those lines. lol

Sleep is good, but you might miss an opportunity when you're sleeping. Plus, you can sleep when you're dead.

Now that I think about it, not enough! And when I am sleeping, I'm thinking about what could I have done better yesterday to make my day today better. So I guess I'm really never sleeping at all. Oh well, isn't that old saying I have plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead?

all I can say is coffee.. lots and lots of coffee...

I get about 6-7h now.. but for a good 2 years I got from 2h-4h of sleep a day... if you can.. grab some power naps during the day.. not sleeping really drains you and you will end up taking twice as long to do the same task after a while...

Either sleeping 6 hours at nigh ( 9 pm to 3 am ) or 8 hours at morning ( 4 am to 0 pm )

I don't believe IM is about staying on the computer all day. Actually, for me its the opposite. I love IM so that I can sleep, stay with family and have freedom over my live

Money isn't my goal, it's just a way

I sleep around 4-5 days per day. How do I stay focus? Keeping in mind that there is always a pot of gold after a long week of work.

Depends. I can go with 2-4 hours for a long time if neccessary.
But I also enjoy my 7-10 hour sleeps.

I only can agree with you. 2h-4h is enough for me. Lot's of coffee, I mean liters, and sigarets. I do this for almost 22 years, and still feel great. I normally go to bed at 3 in the morning and wake up at 5. Because of all the caffeine I can't sleep longer. If I sleep more, then the next morning I'm a wreck.

I try to sleep 6-8hrs night, but I do not always get that. I have 3 kids and sometimes the only time I get a chance to work is when they are sleeping, so I usually stay up to 3-4 am and then get up about 10. Really helps being self employed.

3 - 4 hours usually. If I'm lucky, 5 hours. If I'm REALLY lucky, 6 hours (this happens like twice every 3 weeks). Once in a while I go up to 10 hours. But yeah, 4 hours/night seems to be the routine for me. No coffee, no cigarette.

I only sleep for about 5-6 hours every night. I've been doing it for about 2 years and if I sleep any longer or any shorter I get really tired.

8 hours; sometimes I go to bed at 2am, 3am, 5am, but then I sleep like a baby for 8 hours straight
