Hey all!

I finally found my keyword for my new MNS! Bought the hosting and the Domain name.
But i have some 'newbie' questions related to it.

1) What theme should i use? (I will be using Hekke's home page idea) (free one or available in download section)
2) Do backlinks from site that are not really related to my site but have good DA help me?
3) Commenting on sites with No "nofollow" get me a backlink? Forum posting on such sites count as backlink?
4) Should i try to rank my main keyword only or add more keywords and try to rank them as well? (Hekke said Its always better to rank more keywords
5) I am planning to post 4000 word article on my main page with Links to all other articles i'll be posting on each - 4000 words (Approx 10-15) My competition who is ranking 1st has 3.5k articles and so on and not soo many good backlinks so i hope i can out do him.
6) Having many backlinks from tumblr (I have friends who use tumblr with DA around 27) If i ask them to post a little pharagraph and give link my article will that effect me in a negative way? I dont have expired domains or anything, i just know few site owners who MIGHT help me out, not sure. All i have is tumblr right now and maybe Forum posting (if that counts)
EDIT - Where should i add my main keyword? I heard i should add it in Meta tag or somewhere? Dont exactly remember! Pls help!

I have a lot of Facebook pages and also FaceDominator app which has helped me scrape all the group related to my keyword. Will start posting in them soon as well!

Thanks a lot for reading my questions :)

Shoutout to virtualbyron who has helped me immensely and hekke whose journey helped me a lot!

Looks like you're starting from zero there, mate. Search through the journeys for an Amazon micro niche experiment and see what worked and what didn't.

I think you got more knowledge than you think.

Target a lot of keywords and out-do your competitors in everything (quality over quantity of course). All links linked to you COUNTS and is NECESSARY but no-follow is not giving you any SEO benefit, although it is great to have some diversification. A site that isn't related to you easily can be related to you.

For example, you can do a guest post on a fitness site for your parenting site "How To Workout using your child", "How to help your child find the right sport for them" or parenting niche in travel "5 Travel Essentials for your baby". Be creative and you can turn any niche site into a potential guest post opportunity.

Themes can be changed whenever. So that doesn't matter that much.

Test and adapt from the results you get. You've got nothing to lose.
