    Hello,

I have a site. Domain is about 5 months old has PR 1, the site itself is 4 days old. It has about 8 original articles and I also did a little bit of link building (some do-follow blog comments, some .edu backlinks and a few pr 3-6 backlinks).

Google indexed only 4 pages of my blog - the first page (which hasn't been indexed at the updated form) and the first 3 articles that were published, since then nothing else has changed even if I added more unique articles and did more link building.

Is my site suffering some kind of sandbox or what? I also submitted my sitemap to google and added my site in google's webmasters tools.

So its only 4 days old and you are already getting worried? Just take a few deep breaths and relax. Give it 1-2 weeks before you even think about getting concerned. Keep doing what you are doing. If the domain is 5 months old, and the site only a few days, then Google isn't used to seeing new content on your site, so they only visit it every few days/weeks to check for new content. If you increase the rate at which you add new content they will come visit your sooner and sooner each time.

So I shouldn't stop building good backlinks? I panicked a little, I thought a builded a little bit too much backlinks and too qualitative since they are edu. ones and high pr (5-10 backlinks a day).

You're gonna see bounce for the first 3-6 months on a new domain; don't get flapped this early on!
