Yep, it's xmas and i'm posting at BHW ..money never sleeps I guess..just had to log in and check various accounts, but I wanted to take a moment and reflect on this past year for everyone struggling to make a buck, or sustain what they're already building. I'm not going to go into WHERE i came from right now, but what I want to do is show you what some of my blackhat/whitehat/greyhat income provides for: A) My family..first and foremost. My wife and 2 baby girls will always, always be provided for god willing. B) My house (considered this exact house, but decided against it due to the fact I wanted at least an acre) C) Car(s) D) Investments, Investments, Investments... I just got done reading a thread about pespectives..here in the U.S and outside the U.S. Many times we forget where people are coming from, what backgrounds and where they want to go. Being "rich" is a mindset and a perspective. I can guarantee that making 'X' amount per month is alot different than most people here. But the attitude and desire remains the same. Some of us are cruising @ 120mph, stable and carefree as can be..but the desire to keep the pedal to the ground has and will never waiver. Others are now just trying to FIND the on ramp to get onto this wealth highway. Others are realizing that chugging along at 10mph is good enough for them. The point is..there IS a highway of wealth. But you need to learn how to drive first and understand HOW the car you're driving works in order for it to take you where you want to go. Hidden inside that allegory is a message. The bottom line is whatever you do, just...do. This isn't a brag post, because honestly, there are a bunch of guys on here driving ferrari's and lambo's..I know who you are and you guys have been here since the early days Back in the days of door generator pages and fooling google back then..well, it was "easier" money so to speak..some of you know what i'm talking about. Nowadays there aren't many real "blackhat" methods floating around publicly, from what i can see. But the idea to make money with automation, and putting spins on various methods..that will ALWAYS make you money..you just need to find what works for you. Here's an example. Earlier this year someone posted a plan to game craigslist gig ads. While reading it, I thought of a spin that just might work. Let's just say I took that simple gig ad and turned it into selling mortgage refinance app's to local banks nearby. Yea, extra leg work, but holy hell..GOOD money. Here was my thought process: people who are looking for jobs, cheap jobs, manual labor jobs, generally also might benefit from a mortgage refi...especially those who are close to defaulting(if they own and don't rent). Now, take the extra step of not only putting them in touch with an agency that actually can provide temp jobs, but also someone who can assist with a mortgage refi..now, YOU are making money..and that's all I will say about that spin Clearly a little more advanced, but the same mantra applies regardless of how easy or advanced something is. Give yourself a time frame to make something work, or not work, and then move on. Make note what you did and how you did it..along with the expectations. This stuff doesn't happen overnight, and there are no easy methods. But treat your income as money to be either saved, invested, or REINVESTED into your business. Can I tell you how much I write off in taxes on software purchases each year along with 3rd party service work done by independent contractors? A bunch lol. And if you do come into considerable income, always consider land as a viable investment interest. Land will almost always appreciate. I guess what I'm saying is, keep investing in yourself and the business you're building online. You may think your first adsense site is just a hobby site, but then you'll realize 3 years later with over 700 sites in your portfolio that what you're doing is just more than a hobby God bless, and good luck in the upcoming year.
