Wow. Some of those are amazing. However, as you said sites like

    hollandamericacruises.net

are guaranteed to get lawyers coming at you in waves! Those are only for the really savvy or shifty or smart... or if your cousin is an attorney. :)

See how do you buy expired domains? I bought a close out expired domain at godaddy the other week but I don't really get how you buy expired domains...

I wouldn't mind finding out where the OP got them too. The places I check for expired domains either totally suck, or they want like 10 grand each... they're dreaming. :)

Expired domains can't cost $10,000 because nobody has them, they cost just the reg. fee. I think you're referring to aged domains, where people and companies sell them.

To find good expired domains, you usually have no choice but to look through a load of crap ones to dig out the good ones, hotnamelist.com sometimes has a few good expired and available domains, also justdropped.com is a service where you can enter keywords to find expired domains with that keyword in, or simply view a list of the thousands of domains that drop every day.

valuate.com allows you to check the availability, rough value, cpc, and rough amount of searches per month for the keywords in the domain.

Finding good unregistered domains, expired or brand new, requires good keyword research in the first place.

You're absolutely right. I meant the ones that are aged and for sale. Thanks for the link to valuate.com! I checked my domains and three of them are worth over $3,000 total. Not bad considering I picked them up out of nowhere and they cost me nothing but a registration. :)

They're only worth what someone will pay. Sometimes that's more, and sometimes that's less than what they're evaluated at.

Most of the time it's less.. throw them up on flippa.com when you're ready to find out!

    Good luck!

Actually I'm going to start milking them bigtime now that I see they're worth something. I'll entertain any offers of a million $ and up... for each one! ;)
