So I got a massive spam amount of emails from Yahoo Answers saying that my answers & questions have been removed because they've been reported by some doofus asswipe. And now my account is suspended? Any idea why guys? Not bothering appealing my account suspension because Yahoo's customer service is terrible.

So where is the other half of the story? Your answers got deleted but how did they look like?

Hmm.. is the site relevant to the question? Does clicking on your link actually help the questioner?

    That sucks..
I have one account where all my answers direct to my site... I hope I don't face the same problem soon.

can be a competitor, a wannabe spam cop (if my memory does not cheat, there are many on YA)

it's interesting though, because i'm still getting emails from yahoo, that my answer was selected as best answer, when i haven't touched YA in the last 2 years and those answers i made are obviously spam answers with a SC download link containing a password protected (password file is also uploaded on SC) fake file, never underestimate the human dumbness lol

Yeah, I always provided helpful links. On my website they could find additional information and download links.

Hmm, you are unlucky then. Because I drop links too and I never got suspended.

Some of the members on Yahoo are hardcore...they take their "spam patrolling" very serious - I have seen some absolute obvious spam stick around for years...and actually helpful/legit answers get axed.

I once had a competitor posting as if they were my company - and it took almost a year to get them removed!! Yahooo customer service SUCKS - they would not help! It finally did get taken down when I had some BHW members flag the account with some aged high level accounts.

    I hate Yahoo answers lol

Anyways, any advice on how to prevent getting... suspended again?

Only way to guarantee that would be to not post there lol

But in all seriousness...posts can be taken down with some high level accounts...so there is always that possibility...or they could stick and never be bothered...roll the dice and just go for it...and if they get pulled again...do it again

use accs what helped netmoney1 to remove that answer (i remember that thread btw, maybe i even did some flagging lol)

aged high level accs ftw, those have a lot bigger buffer
