    Hi guys,

Just sold my first site with $300/month with clickbank at $600. This is my first site so it's not a real disappointment but as a general rule, it should have been sold for around 3k.

    What did I do wrong?
    - I didn't buy any extra promotion
    - I set the ending time on 9am (GMT)

there are only 598 view to the auction page

Thanks in advance for your comments

yeah, but is it the sign that there are not many flippers on flippa now or I didn't get the right timing? (auction ended in Sunday)

WoW you should have sold it on DP, thats where u went wrong. Also (im no expert or anything, I just read alot) I believe the 10 x monthly income is normally for ever green adsense sites.

wow, soz bro.!!!!!! Next time keep the CB sites for yourself.

Actually, I just want to stop doing clickbank IM product review. I know that the buyer will have to add more review to increase as well as maintain the income stream but in 2 days, I made over $500 with only 2 new products. Still feel that $600 is not a good deal. Whatever, no hard feeling here but I just want to know what did I do wrong.

I heard that putting reserve price will drive low ball bidders away so my listing cannot get into most active section

Better than selling your website for much less than what's worth. No reserve auctions are usually used for either very low quality - so you do not care for it, or very high quality where you know for sure everyone is going to bid like crazy. If you are in the middle - like you - put a reserve price, do not sell 300$ per month websites for 600$. Expensive mistake.

Thanks, this is the valuable lesson for me in the next websites.
Any recommendation with the $600 I've earned?

Another possible reason is that you do not have a good listing and it does not attract enough listing view.

There is no bidding wars and then the listing is sold below the desired price

Usually $1 reserve works best, your title is very important, here's a sample (not perfect, I don't know your site etc, would love to see your auction! plz PM me the link).

    Clickbank Site! $300/Month! NO RESERVE!

Have you been fast in response?
Have you PMed the top 3 bidders that there has been another bid placed?
Did you make a good sales page?
Did you make it a FEATURED auction?

    Thanks for the tips.
    - I response very fast, few minutes after the comments were made
    - I didn't PM the top bidders as flippa said it's against the TOS
    - I didn't make it featured as I don't have any cash in my paypal
    - My sale page, now I look back, it was not good enough

If I can still remember, you once mentioned in your first thread that the price was not a big issue to you.

    You put "No Reserve".

I dont know if it is the same auction you are referring to here.

I would have put a reserve price of at least $2000 for a site like that.

Yeah, I didn't expect much like 10 times of monthly income but 2x would be a shock :D. I didn't put a reserve because some people said that it would lower the interest of bidders. I will consider this option when selling other sites.

Thanks meathead, here is the link:

just like some guys said you sold the site for a bit too cheap should have gone for atleast $2k its like it should be 10to 12 time the monthly revenue and also where did you put it up on and should have put a reserve on it to get the price higher also should have probably put it on dp and would have got more for it
