    software to run search proxies on ip ranges? is there such program?

    you mean you want software to search for proxies across ip ranges? A port scanner will find common open ports used for proxies(80, 8080, 1080, 3128..etc) then there are tools to check if the proxy is open

    no worries mate, enjoy, might also want to get some proxy lists from forums and such

    I've been using Charon in the past, a free tool for proxy scanning and testing.
    It did not look bad.
