Does anyone know of a software that will detect if a website is mobile ready? Another a software where you can enter a niche (i.e. plumbers, attorneys, etc) and it will go out and search that niche and come back with results saying if the websites are mobile ready or not.

    Thank you!

Thank you. My fault, I wasn't clear. I'm talking about a software that would produce a list of prospects within a niche without a mobile ready website. So, you would search within the software (i.e. plumbers, dentists, attorneys, air conditioning, pest control, etc.) and it would search the top G results for plumbers or maybe "city" plumbers and then detect if the 100 sites are mobile ready sites. It would return results with website, email, phone and if it is mobile ready or not. Thanks.

Finding them all together, i'm not sure of. I use Woorank, and it works just fine. But has to be done individually.

It is somewhat easy, if you know PHP/etc.

Get a list of sites (say using scrapebox).

Then crawl the home page one at a time with php - using curl. Save the page.

Then change the user agent to a mobile one (say iphone user agent) and then re-crawl the page.

Now compare the two pages using php. The ones that are different should be noted. Of course, pages with say date/time showing would also be different, but then you either scan visually, or (b) write some fancy program to detect the amount of changes (hard).

    Hope this helps.
