I regularly produce new articles and I want a way to give them social proof.

I have a like and tweet button with counter on the pages. What are the best ways to boost the counters? They don't have to be real likes and tweets of course, it just has to be a safe method. I'd only looking to get them primed with 50-100 likes or tweets.

Just use AddMeFast. There are free macros available on this forum (hint: use the search feature) and you can boost each post as you publish them.

Thanks. Any other ways? I need a more automated way.

In this context, I won't be able to give a recommendation on how to automate what you want.
    I have a suggestion, however.
Join Facebook or LinkedIn groups with active and dynamic group members. Contribute at first. Once you've gotten a good feel of the members' posting habits, share your posts to the group and ask for some social love.

AddMeFast. Collect the points by liking and doing other stuff and redeem them on your Article likes and tweets.
