I am looking for a software/script that automates or semi-automates the creation of blogs on free platforms such as LiveJournal, Weebly, Ning, etc. Does anyone know of a program that may help with this?

Alternatively, maybe someone can offer some advice on how they speed up the creation of these pages by hand? They are just so time consuming to create and I am tired of spending money on services to do these for me, would rather just by a soft. and do it myself.

Thanks for the help ladies and gents.

maybe you should take a look at ubot and then you can build what you need, when you need it..:D

Im probably looking at getting it myself in the next few days..

I dont have a clue about programming, but it looks pretty user friendly, and the thought of having an idea in the morning and by lunch time putting it in to action seems too irrestible..:)

Use iMacros if you don't want to send a dime - it can be easily done with that...you can integrate it with decaptcher too, so you won't have to type captchas manually.

Agreed, I have thought about purchasing Ubot for a while now. My problem is that I know nothing about programming and am concerned that I would get tied up in developing a bot and not get anything else done. lol

Great idea and I like free, but I don't know where to start. Are there any "decent" guides that would help me get started building macros for seo purposes? Also, how long do you think it would realistically take to create a bot that would do this type of posting for me?

    Thanks for the help, btw.

If you have money to spend I would suggest Link Farm Evolution. I have it and I love it. Plus you can easily manage the blogs from the control panel

I second the recommendation to use iMacros. I recorded the tasks to make a WordPress blog with some customizations.

I then made some adjustments to the resultant script to ask for variables and use them later in the code. Example below:

    PROMPT Please<SP>enter<SP>the<SP>website<SP>address<SP>(No<SP>www). !VAR1

    later:

    URL GOTO=http://www.{{!var1}}/blog/

There is even more iMacros coding here on BHW.

lamm - are you using the full version of iMacros or is this for the firefox add-on? Will the firefox add-on accomplish this?

To be honest, nothing beats coding what you need by yourself - it's not that hard really. I've been a coder my self for years, and I can say that VB.NET, Visual Studio & Google is all you need to make custom bots :) Yes, getting started is difficult especially is you don't have enough confidence in your programming abilities, but then you'll see that simple webbrowser automation made in VB is far better and more customizable than any crappy automation suite.

Imacros is a great tool, but does have some learning curve if you really want to master it.
