An interesting piece of software created by the call-tracking company - Ringostat for their internal use, they revealed it at a local SEO conference and I had a chat with a speaker afterwards to learn more. You basically enter a location and a list of keywords and they give you a list of companies running ads for your keywords in that location Here's how it works: They use an API of Google Places (and other services like foursquare or yelp, anything that has geo data) to get a list of companies by region. For example, all companies in central London. Parsing the companies takes time, Google Places API is open access but it's limited to like 100 requests per hour. Once you've got the list of all companies in that region you can use API of a keyword tool to check which companies from the list run ads for your keywords. they've used Serpstat API, but I believe any other should also work. Some screenshots, provided by Ringostat at my request. Step one: Here you enter your location and your keywords. I requested that they do it for London and Car Sales niche. Step two: you get a list of companies that fit your parameters. THeir script is focused on gathering phone numbers so the didn't add emails, but you can get email addresses too, and any other data like facebook pages and etc. step three: Expanded data on a company from the list. That's about it. Not much here, but I think it's a very useful and neat tool, especially for those who work in B2B and want to spam the sh*t out of every business they target. I asked if they plan to make it public, they said no plans so far. Here's their website: ringostat.com you can contact them, with your questions about this tool. they responded to all of my requests so far.
