Software Distributors.

I have a software company, but only have a digital version. I'd like to add a physical (cd) version but don't really want to mess around with the shipping.

I came across this site today http://www.swiftcd.com/ Basically they take the order, and mail out each individual cd to each client. They aren't picking up new clients though.

Does anyone know of a place that can do this for me?

Take an order, create the product, and ship it?

Actually did a ton of research today, if anyone else is interested.

A lot of sites have these systems either integrated, or have "partnerships" with other companies that offer this service. E-junkie for example hooks up with 2 different companies.

This isn't just meant for software. Anyone with a digital product. E-books might be overkill, but people with video courses could also use this.

I use Plimus, the buyer has the option to get the software, ebook, whatever, put on a CD and shipped to them for an extra I think $3? You can take paypal, moneybookers, and cc/debit card with them too. Works well for me and you don't ever have to burn or ship a CD (they also get the download instantly as well).

That is exactly what I was looking for. It costs 9.90, which is a little bit more expensive than the other place I checked out, but they print full color cds and ship them worldwide. I'm going to mark it up probably to 14.95, and make some additional profit on top of the digital sale.

10% fees is also kind of high, but the service they offer looks a lot better than anything else I've seen.

The 10% is for items I think under $40 or $50. Once you get up there their fees drop a lot all the way down to I think 1.75%. I sell a range of products at different prices but at the end my monthly fees come out to about 6% which is better than PayPal and there's no fixed fee on top of the %age.

I think swreg.org also has this option to mail customers your software via CD.
