so i have a channel with some twerking vids, strip teases, etc. and so far i've garnered 2 community guidelines strikes.

most of the videos show the green monetized icon, yet my balance is staying at $0.

could my channel have been demonetized because of the strikes, or because of the nature of the channel?
i have another, newer channel and the avenue shows up even though it has less views in total.

So ive been having the same problem no not softcore porn but keywords which i think youtube has marked as not advertiser friendly.
I have a video that has the word "make out" in it and with 9k views and the money is less then .50 cents
I also have a video with the word "boobs" and it is getting very low earnings.
I also have a video that has no bad keywords in it and on the first day got 3k views and earned over 4 dollars.
So in all i think that youtube is kinda not sending ads to videos that are not "nice videos"

    that's very much possible.
i did notice some videos were actually labeled as not eligible for monetization simply because of some tags or words in the title such as 'porn', '18+', 'nudity', etc. and when i removed those words the green money icon came back, but yep still no earnings.
it'd be good to know exactly what words to avoid.

also needless to say i meant 'REVENUE' in the OP lol..

Yeah no porn related advertisers will head to youtube on first place since they are aware that youtube does not likes that.
So less ads and less earnings.
