Many people are looking for alternatives to the normal grind, 9-5 factory/office job. In 1995, there simply wasn't any way to mitigate the monotony unless you went to college, and, learned a trade. In 2015, it's a whole new world. The simple minded average person, could in theory create their own WordPress blog, start posting and throw up ads and make $0.15 per day. That wouldn't cure their sickness of their 9-to-5 though, would it? I didn't think so. We're talking about $1000 - $2000 dollars here. That's what you really want to make, right? Well, it isn't that easy. In fact, it takes years to obtain enough organic traffic to start making enough money from your blog. Don't frown!! That doesn't mean that you aren't able to achieve it! Throughout my years on the internet, creating different websites and earning money online. I have gathered some information that will help you on your way to job freedom. Now, please, don't think that I am here to teach you how to get rich quick. In reality, nobody can show you how to get rich quick. It doesn't exist.
A few things to keep in mind though:
1.Make sure you always create quality content. Make sure you're solving people's problems.
2. When you're writing your piece of art. Make sure it's your piece of art to write. If you steal or copy write someone else's content, it won't only hurt your ranking in the search engine(s). It could possibly get you in to some legal problems.
3. When you're writing your WordPress blog post(s). Make sure you are using relevant keywords for your website and/or articles. You don't want to talk about computers, and use the keywords coffee. Although, coffee and computer may just be two intertwining keywords that make your day better, right?
4. Don't you hate when you get unwanted email that blocks all of that important stuff you're waiting on? That's called spam. Everybody hates it. Not just you! Make sure when you're finished writing your article. You're not going around the internet joining forums, and, posting your link. Never to return again. I can promise you, that will not help. It will only hurt your ranking. Websites can and will block your website from any interaction with theirs. A lot of the times forums and blogs have settings in place so that search engines won't follow your link(s) called no-follow. So it won't help you out at all. Start a Facebook fan page, a twitter account and a Google + account. Update it accordingly, and you will slowly, but surely gain organic traffic.
5. It may be tempting, but, don't do it. I'm not sure how I can get this across to you clear enough, but, click banks and pay for traffic websites are the worst thing you can do to your website! Most of the time, they aren't even real people who come to your website. If you use Google Adsense on your website. Google will deactivate your account, then you forfeit all of your earnings. These websites use programs to generate hits to your website. You want to focus on organic traffic. Organic traffic is a term I use a lot! Organic is REAL! Real traffic is EVERYTHING to your ranking results.
6. People can tell if you aren't in-one or in-sync with your writing. If you're posting, just to be posting. People can tell. You will lose their interest almost immediately. You have to find a Niche' that you love. You must love what you do, and love what you write about. Become passionate with your work. After-all, it's your piece of art. Write from your heart, not your fingers. If you do this, I can promise. You will generate traffic, slowly, but surely. When you write from your heart, about something that you love. That love transfers to your visitors when they're reading it. This is how you generate unique visitors. Visitors that read this content, and can also become in-sync with your writing, will most likely return and subscribe to your newsletter.
7. When you write, don't just touch on a topic. Really go in depth. Catching the readers attention is the very first thing you must achieve when writing your WordPress blog post(s). After you catch their attention. You must keep their attention. People reading on the internet have a very short attention span. If you go in depth. Most of the time, the readers will get lost within themselves, as long as you're following number 6, and loving what you write. Make sure that you don't leave the reader with any doubt, you're the expert. Prove it to your readers.
8. Installing a script called WordPress and posting articles is a huge part of your transition from the working world, into the writing world. It's not the only thing though. You must make sure you choose a quality web hosting company. A web hosting company houses your WordPress blog. Be sure you read as many reviews as you can on the web host before choosing them. If your website is always down. Your readers won't be able to reach you, thus going somewhere else for their content. This will also hurt your search engine rankings. Google and Yahoo! aren't going to rank a website high if readers aren't ever able to connect with it.
9. Make sure you solve people's problems. People are naturally lazy. They don't ever want to do anything for themselves. Especially in 2015! They turn to Google. Guess what they're typing in? "How to beat a speeding ticket", "How to start a website", "How to grow my WordPress blog"... That is where you come in. If you solve their problem. They will come knocking on your website. If you help them, they will help you.
There isn't any easy way to do this. You must put your heart and your soul into this. It will begin to turn into more than your 9to5 job, but, the payout is so, so, so much better than your weekly paycheck, and in time, much much more than your paycheck. Be that door that is always open to anybody. Use your blog as a connection between the outside readers and yourself. Leave that door unlocked, and I can promise that your readers will come back to you day after day. Oh, and make sure you have enough coffee to keep you going when you're working on your blog. Bloggers don't know the difference between day or night. We don't have a set bedtime. Most of all, enjoy!
