Many people are looking for alternatives to the normal grind, 9-5 factory/office job. In 1995, there simply wasn't any way to mitigate the monotony unless you went to college, and, learned a trade. In 2015, it's a whole new world. The simple minded average person, could in theory create their own WordPress blog, start posting and throw up ads and make $0.15 per day. That wouldn't cure their sickness of their 9-to-5 though, would it? I didn't think so. We're talking about $1000 - $2000 dollars here. That's what you really want to make, right? Well, it isn't that easy. In fact, it takes years to obtain enough organic traffic to start making enough money from your blog. Don't frown!! That doesn't mean that you aren't able to achieve it! Throughout my years on the internet, creating different websites and earning money online. I have gathered some information that will help you on your way to job freedom. Now, please, don't think that I am here to teach you how to get rich quick. In reality, nobody can show you how to get rich quick. It doesn't exist.

A few things to keep in mind though:

    • Always create quality content
    • Never steal or reword anybody else? work
    • Make sure you use relevant keywords
    • Don?t spam your work all over the internet
    • Don?t pay for click programs, or hit generating websites
    • Love what you do, Love what you post about
    • Really go in depth with your writing
    • Make sure you have quality web hosting that doesn?t go offline all of the time
    • Solve people?s problems on your website

1.Make sure you always create quality content. Make sure you're solving people's problems.
    2. When you're writing your piece of art. Make sure it's your piece of art to write. If you steal or copy write someone else's content, it won't only hurt your ranking in the search engine(s). It could possibly get you in to some legal problems.

    3. When you're writing your WordPress blog post(s). Make sure you are using relevant keywords for your website and/or articles. You don't want to talk about computers, and use the keywords coffee. Although, coffee and computer may just be two intertwining keywords that make your day better, right?

    4. Don't you hate when you get unwanted email that blocks all of that important stuff you're waiting on? That's called spam. Everybody hates it. Not just you! Make sure when you're finished writing your article. You're not going around the internet joining forums, and, posting your link. Never to return again. I can promise you, that will not help. It will only hurt your ranking. Websites can and will block your website from any interaction with theirs. A lot of the times forums and blogs have settings in place so that search engines won't follow your link(s) called no-follow. So it won't help you out at all. Start a Facebook fan page, a twitter account and a Google + account. Update it accordingly, and you will slowly, but surely gain organic traffic.

    5. It may be tempting, but, don't do it. I'm not sure how I can get this across to you clear enough, but, click banks and pay for traffic websites are the worst thing you can do to your website! Most of the time, they aren't even real people who come to your website. If you use Google Adsense on your website. Google will deactivate your account, then you forfeit all of your earnings. These websites use programs to generate hits to your website. You want to focus on organic traffic. Organic traffic is a term I use a lot! Organic is REAL! Real traffic is EVERYTHING to your ranking results.

    6. People can tell if you aren't in-one or in-sync with your writing. If you're posting, just to be posting. People can tell. You will lose their interest almost immediately. You have to find a Niche' that you love. You must love what you do, and love what you write about. Become passionate with your work. After-all, it's your piece of art. Write from your heart, not your fingers. If you do this, I can promise. You will generate traffic, slowly, but surely. When you write from your heart, about something that you love. That love transfers to your visitors when they're reading it. This is how you generate unique visitors. Visitors that read this content, and can also become in-sync with your writing, will most likely return and subscribe to your newsletter.

    7. When you write, don't just touch on a topic. Really go in depth. Catching the readers attention is the very first thing you must achieve when writing your WordPress blog post(s). After you catch their attention. You must keep their attention. People reading on the internet have a very short attention span. If you go in depth. Most of the time, the readers will get lost within themselves, as long as you're following number 6, and loving what you write. Make sure that you don't leave the reader with any doubt, you're the expert. Prove it to your readers.

    8. Installing a script called WordPress and posting articles is a huge part of your transition from the working world, into the writing world. It's not the only thing though. You must make sure you choose a quality web hosting company. A web hosting company houses your WordPress blog. Be sure you read as many reviews as you can on the web host before choosing them. If your website is always down. Your readers won't be able to reach you, thus going somewhere else for their content. This will also hurt your search engine rankings. Google and Yahoo! aren't going to rank a website high if readers aren't ever able to connect with it.

    9. Make sure you solve people's problems. People are naturally lazy. They don't ever want to do anything for themselves. Especially in 2015! They turn to Google. Guess what they're typing in? "How to beat a speeding ticket", "How to start a website", "How to grow my WordPress blog"... That is where you come in. If you solve their problem. They will come knocking on your website. If you help them, they will help you.

There isn't any easy way to do this. You must put your heart and your soul into this. It will begin to turn into more than your 9to5 job, but, the payout is so, so, so much better than your weekly paycheck, and in time, much much more than your paycheck. Be that door that is always open to anybody. Use your blog as a connection between the outside readers and yourself. Leave that door unlocked, and I can promise that your readers will come back to you day after day. Oh, and make sure you have enough coffee to keep you going when you're working on your blog. Bloggers don't know the difference between day or night. We don't have a set bedtime. Most of all, enjoy!

Just like any other business, you can't expect to be in profit from day one... and if you do, you are a moron who will give up and waste valuable time.

And you can boost your blog like crazy if you got a bit of an investment... that'll surely get your brand growing a lot faster than just sitting there like a retarded monkey waiting for organic traffic to come.

Until now, yes... and I'm doing stuff online since 15 years...
Only had one project that needed to be developed over a few months before it went live, but when it went online... green numbers from day one, profit in the first month if you don't charge the time involved to develop it.
    Edit:
Profit in the first month means that servers and domains (the only upfront investment besides time) had been paid for the testing period and a year, advertising has been paid, profit is cold hard cash left after everything has been paid.

I've run dozens of models, and methods online, and the key to motivation in my experience is often some initial success. As others have said ... most of the projects I've run, and ALL of the successful ones were in fact profitable largely from day 1.

That said ... I've largely run low to zero-cost projects, and I've also been involved in real world direct response call center startups - so I can tell you that in big business and REAL business ... you do usually have to invest up-front, and wait for your ROI often absorbing large losses on the front end while finding your winners.

What you say is definitely true. There's no real get rich quick strategy and those who believe in this are just looking for trouble. There's money in blogging yes but only with enough effort and a sheer dash of luck. I like that you listed all these tips; it will greatly help people who wanted to take the blogging avenue. I know enough people who earn their living through blogging so if they can do it then others definitely can too.

Cheers for the write up bud:) I'm actually working on a decent blog at the moment, I'm a successful affiliate marketer and I've been sharing my tips on other forums for years but though it was time I got into the blogging world, Did a 2000 word article today, it does take a lot of hard work.

I would have to agree with this. I am the type to juggle many, many projects, but the ones I focus on the most are the ones that showed success quickly. I probably have about 8 different sites right now, but only 2 make any "real" money. Guess which sites I spend the most of my focus on? Yes, those two. Those two were also the ones that were earning after a 1 month of being live.. even if it was just a tiny amount, I realized that I could just "scale" this up.

This is the life pattern of an internet marketer. You will try many things, find out what you're good at and what works for you.. then scale, scale, scale.

Why does everyone keep recommending the way to earn good money online is through "blogging" God there are so many "blogs" which are just bad with bloggers dream to get big. We all know just blogging wont get you anywhere. There is a reason blackhat exisit. There are people banking over 1000 bucks a day. How do you think they are doing that? By blogging?? Yea if you are freaking Huffington post then maybe.

Just blogging and relying on natural traffic will get you no where in this time. There are over tons of "passionate" blogger earning dimes.

I don't want to do 9-5 day job and instead make a living from IMing.

I'm not sure what internet you're surfing but there is huge money in blogging. I have a friend who just turned over 72k last month from blogging while using his affiliate skills within the blog. I know another guy who made 3k on his second month of blogging now he averages around 7-9k a month. Like OP said people want information, if you supply it right you will bank big time. I'm very active on another forum and I'm known for making just over 6 figures in 2013 in that forum from affilates.

I get people asking me everyday for tips.. people want information and it's worth big bucks, I get asked to make a blog all the time. I also sold an instagram over at HF for 10K and now I have people every day messaging me for information about it.... all I did was put up a proof thread on HF and the numbers came pouring in, imagine if I drove those numbers to a blog.

If anyone has a dream to start a blog I suggest you do it right and go for it, spend a month or so studying then get something going.... Don't know until you try. Most successful people say "just fucking do it, take the risk and don't piss around doubting yourself "

Take a look at smartpassiveincome.com that gangsta made 107k last month and backlinko.com makes good $$$. There is honestly soooooo many ways you can make money with a blog. Another guy I know uploaded a video on "how to make a website" on youtube put affiliate link in it then posted it on his blog.. now he makes around 13k a month from recurring payments and it's only growing. $1000 a week isn't much when you look at what some of these blogs bring in.

Want to know the secret to online success? Target the rich, no point in trying to make money of broke people. I advertise on facebook to people who make over 150k a year who have high profile jobs. this way you can sell high ticket items... I've advertised tropical getaway once on FB and someone bought a 13k package with a 6% commission to me ($780 from a 12c click).. I targeted rich motherfuckers who had anniversary's coming up. Anyhow point is targeting the right people can make a blog huge.

    a) Don't do what everybody is doing except you can make it better than they do.
    b) Come up with something new, use your head - thats what its for
    c) Do something you are interested in or like to do, don't start with the focus on money
Most of the guys here on BHW fail because they start something with one single purpose: to make money. The problem: they are not even interested in the process at all how to get there. Instead they want to get spoonfed, and even then they won't listen and make mistakes because they can't follow a 5 step instruction properly. How to help idiots? Its not possible!

Its no big thing tho - a lot of people work at McD's and WalMart... this turned to the other side of the world... it looks like people rather die starving instead of using their damn head...
