So with stats like this, what should I be doing?

I only started this blog about a fortnight ago and it's taking off like crazy (for me at least) I wasn't expecting anywhere near this kind of traffic and it seems like it's only growing more and more (Check out the 7th) Google Analytics says it's about 400UV per day on average with roughly 14,000 page views. But I don't know how I should be properly monetizing this. I thought I did, but I don't.

I've tried sticking a related affiliate banner but that's only been clicked 12 times.

I can't use Adsense because I deleted it long ago out of frustration and giving up and now I can't seem to get another account.

It's all white hat SEO too. All manual blog entries. I'd like to automate it but it simply isn't possible for the blog topic.

So yeah, I'm really stumped. I honesty thought I knew what to do in an event like this, where a blog of mine takes off, but in all honesty, I have no clue.

Pity you can't use Adsense, try a content locker with some CPA offer to access your content, obviously sort after information could be a nice little earner.

Yeah and a site killer ;-)

My advice is : keep on going. I own 2 blogs and im reaching around 200.000UV a month, and when u hit that u can go for premium adverts. I would suggest u register your site at BuySellads.com and place some placeholders, and just keep on going. Try to get into 'premium' advertising companys, and u'll be just fine. Also try to sell some advertorials on forums etc. I had Advertorials of Sony for example, and i can tell you, 1000 dollar for 7days..aint bad. Just dont be greedy, keep going steady and wait for the big money, dont go for the small ammounts u get off cpa locking.

That actually sounds like great advice. Thank you.

I can't believe this though. I just went to bed for a couple of hours and there have already been another 2000 page views. Checking where is linking to my blog reveals that the most popular forum in my country has linked to me.

Affiliate links or CPAs relevant to your niche?

Yahoo/Bing ads (Adsense isn't the only one that exists).

I did have an affiliate banner that was relevant to the niche. I mean, like how air and life are relevant to each other, and all it got was a couple of clicks. It was decently placed too.

Heh, sometimes you forget about the other search engines...

This is almost scary to me. I've never had something take off like this has. I really don't want to bugger this up. I think I'll just keep on doing what I'm doing and then try and get premium ads.

Another option is to use full page ads from places like adbrite. Pay is decent if you have a lot of page views.

Or if you don't go the content locker route try and push an email optin using a lightbox popup then promote offers to your list.

I honestly think you should ignore a lot of the suggestions you're getting about content lockers, and full page ads. A lot of times this will drive traffic away from your site.

It looks like you've got it figured out, whatever you are doing, KEEP DOING IT! I'm sure it's interesting, unique, manual content. Someone liked it somewhere, gave you a traffic pushing link. Keep on keepin' on, and it will keep happening. When you're more reputable, visitors will beg to buy what you tell them is worth it.

Another idea would be to partner with someone who is trustworthy and has an adsense account. Adsense is the simplest and safest way to monetize that traffic.

Just go safe and slow, dont mess up what you have achieved with your traffic, but a trustworthy partner would be a good idea.

I'm not necessarily offering, but I do have a couple of adsense that are virtually unused right now if you need some help. Or search out someone you know personally.

I think that's the best advice, alschule.

To me, all this is just insane. I mean, take a look at this for example.

That's in the short time since I posted the original image. I know it might not seem like a lot to most of you, but when your previous blogs had maybe 5-10 people a day, this is just insane.

I think the best thing I can compare it to is when you're learning to ride your bike. Like when you've taken the training wheels off for the first time and you're doing it all on your own. It feels great and you're proud of yourself, but still a little scared that you might stuff up and come crashing down.

hey, is this manual content? did you write the content for yourself or are you outsourcing it? are the keywords from google trends?

I assume your blog content is the "end point" thats because the visitors get what they need and hardly click on your banners... I would not use banners for myself, try to imitate adsense and add text links. Maybe try to not to deliver all the information that the user need so they click more on your ads.

Yeah it's all manual content. Everything has been hand written by me, all the SEO has been done by me, all the directory submissions and what not have been done by me.

That's a good point about the "End Point" thing though.

    You can try adsense.

Even if you have one UV a day, trust me, this UV can click on your ads :)

OpenX offer banner ads and they claim they are similar to AdSense.

You know, sometimes your blog is just non-monetize-able. Content-locking tends to drive visitors away, so maybe put more banners around the blog, you know in the article body, under the navigation menu, in the header and footer, etc etc. Give people more choice with the ads, let them decide what to click, see what ads monetize the best and then proceed to replace the failing offers with the successful ones.
