So who isn't getting their twitter accounts locked, and what are the bots and settings you used to achieve this.

No account locking going on here. For the real accounts (a handful), I use my work connection, no proxies. Twitter probably know they're from one guy, but no troubles so far.

For the black hat ones, one dedicated private proxy per account always from same region, no aggressive following at first. I insert some human posts here and there to make it seem legit, retweet people's tweets and reply to comments. That's all folks, make it seem legit...

I'm pretty sure these guys from Twitter have lots of stats regarding real of fake accounts. If they don't have it now, they will apply it in future dependind on the fact whether they want legit accounts or not. If I were on their place and wanted to weed the fake accounts I would take all the stats I have regarding the already found fake accounts and apply it to find the others which correspond to that pattern of action.

Following others for few hours daily instead 24 hours a day with few minute delays randomly could be a good idea to emulate human behavior.

There are a lot of ways to suspend your account =) But mostly they have unnormal behavior (a lot of actions in a short period)

I have dedicated proxies for each of my accounts. I RT content automatically as well as tweet content via API twitter extension I made (on some accounts) other accounts I tweet content via an RSS feed that I built. It is still my content just easier to distribute this way. I am using a bot to follow & unfollow, but not aggressively probably 100 a day my accounts are older than 3 years old with more than 5k followers. They are getting locked very quickly. Currently using tweet attacks.

Either the software should emulate human behavior or you should jump in from time to time to insert some human effect. And then you're good. :)

Locking happens when twitter detects the bot behavior. Make the following appear natural like give natural time limit between each action to bypass this.

i have the exact same issue. accounts are older than 3 years, more than 5K followers and i'm following about 100-200 per day per account. All are getting locked at least once every 3 days. Any ideas? Should the following be done in a tighter range or over the course of an entire day?

Good comments.. but what is a natural time limit? For example, if i'm going to follow 200 people per day, should that all be done within an hour or should it be spread across 24 hours?

Can i ask what activity you're doing with them? How much are you following / unfollowing per day? Any tweeting? Any parameters?

I have 71 accounts running on auto, with very carefully chosen niche content auto-tweeting.

I went through a rash of getting accounts locked, then I switched to running them on private proxies, I only use each proxy for eight accounts, which is a bit expensive but when the accounts get big enough it should all be worth it.

I have had one or two accounts blocked this week, but they were accounts with very weak passwords.

No matter how you do it, mass follow will get your account locked time to time. How can somebody not understand that? Twitter couldn't care less about time gap between your actions or other mumbo jumbo. You follow hundreds of other users a day, then you unfollow the same amount, then you follow again, everyday all day. That looks natural to anybody? What sane person would follow 10,000 others for example? It is for one reason only, to get more followers. They don't like this behavior so the lock the accounts. How many you follow at once, how many you unfollow, delay between follows, whatever you like, will not change the underlying pattern.
