I started using Blekko a few weeks back, and don't notice too much difference in quality, apart from single word queries:cornmeal etc. But just wanted to test it more, as I want to move away from that monopoly tbh. Duckduckgo.com is also good...I like Blekko because of their Grep stuff and SEO data, and it is more transparent without the bs that is Google and matt cutts etc.

Blekko and DuckDuckGo are two awesome search engines that I really wish would take off.

With our profession, we pretty much have to use google since a majority of people use it - and will continue using it. They are the top dogs and the smaller ones normally follow suite. Wish I didn't have to, but thats the way the cookie crumbles :(

95% switched away from google here. No android, no gmail or G+, no adsense (request account cancellation), no webmaster tools, and of course no analytics...

For search, I use Bing. Not bad at all. Feel great here!!!

I would like to see blekko do well, I could brag about getting a personal email from the guy behind it about their API lol

Google it... Blekko it.. right amount of syllables anyway. I remember when hearing people suddenly start saying "Google it" made me laugh a little.

there is a reason why google is still top dog now and most of the times the SERP's i get for my searches are more accurate than the other search engines but i gladly change if there comes one that is as good as G without the problems.
